Called to be an Apostle of Jesus Christ, through the will of God. Not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead. (Galatians. 1:1)
Emerald Ministry’s founder and Executive Director has been a sincerely committed Christian since 1987. After his conversion he attended a large denominational Church from 1990 to 1994. In 1995 he was inspired to move his membership to a large non-denominational church, where he later became involved in the prayer ministry, facilitator of a bible class, home bible study teacher and minister to new converts. He established Emerald Ministries in 2003, a non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry to assist other ministries with their start up, accounting, and business acumen, thus enabling them up to focus on their primary ministry without having to be experts in commerce. Doug brings over twenty years of experience in teaching, training and overseeing independent contractors in the service industry. Emerald Ministries has been given a Vision to call on would be ministers with a passion to spread the word with a God given vision but without the business knowledge to make it happen. Doug’s vision has been one to supercharge ministries to more rapidly and effectively spread the Word as he has been told to do to reach exponentially more people to bring to Christ. His passion is to see every member in the body of Christ maneuvering effectively in the ministry gifts and callings God pre-ordained them to serve in before the foundations of the world. Doug is in the process of publishing his writings and teachings which will be available on this website as soon as they are released. OUR MISSION To provide collaboration for growing and equipping visions of leaders who minister the love of Christ to all Emerald Ministries provides the apostolic backing, counseling, business acumen and professional support to enable new and existing ministries to operate successfully and on a full-time basis to reach as many people as possible to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and to bring the Word to all who seek Him. WHO WE ARE Emerald Ministries is a debt-free Houston-based non-profit ministry that provides support services to individual and non-profit Christian ministries and organizations. We are organized under 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. WHAT WE DO Emerald Ministries provides partnership and collaboration by offering a full range of support services that best equip new and growing ministries for success in implementing the visions of leaders called to minister the Word and Love of Jesus Christ to all. Our objective is to support and encourage growing the vision God has placed in the hearts of fellow believers. Through delivering quality services and client support, we are dedicating our efforts toward building long-term relationships with partner ministers and organizations. † Pre and post counseling to new ministers / ministries for assistance in fulfilling their vision, including consultation and hands-on guidance. † Identification of short and long term objectives † Business guidance and financial services to new ministries and ministries in search of grants to continue their organization, including: † Contributions management † Donor records and record keeping and Accounting support
